Requirement analysis and implementation of an application for managing the cooperation between thesis supervisors and students

Abstract

Application which supports students and mentors to manage their university projects and it’s data in a clear and organized way. It will store all information needed for them to meet project deadlines, find and communicate with people who are involved in certain projects. It allows both sides to track their progress in projects they take part in, find new interesting projects they want to take part in or help with. It also allows mentors to create new projects. It’s goal is for both sides to store clear notes, meetings, handle their personal or project calendar, check for deadlines, set milestones and store and edit their personal data. Nevertheless, the application can be used in any project that involves collaboration between an experienced person who supports a team of people (students) in achieving a specific IT goal.
