Risk management analysis in conducting IT project using the Scrum framework

Abstract

The subject of this work is to present the risk management in running a project in the Scrum development environment. The work presents selected types of IT projects, shortly about product management, the duration of which is closely related to the existence of the product and describes risk management in the most popular project management methodologies. The diploma thesis consists of three parts. The first part of the work deals with the issues of Information Technology (IT) projects and presents one of the classifications of such projects then discusses them. This part also deals with risk and its management generally and within most popular project methods. The second part describes risk managements methods in Scrum framework. The Third part last, final part presents characteristic of the selected entity and its activities as well as the manner of conducting projects, and risk management in the adapted Scrum.
