Abstract:
This thesis is about enhancing a card game for children with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Features, principles of creation and educational possibilities of both card games and Augmented Reality games are being researched from the point of view of a potential developer of a game for children that would mix both medium. The case study of the AR game is also tested. Results of the game testing show that AR has increased the attractiveness of the game and players felt more motivated to win.
