Streszczenie:
The goal of the diploma thesis was to research the connection between the political world
outlook and work in the territory of arts. The work deals with the basic historical connotations
of such convictions as well as philosophical analysis of the issue. The thesis has a theoretical
background laid out by three philosophical figures: Jean-Francois Lyotard, Michel Foucault
and Richard Rorty. In the thesis two contemporary exhibitions are analysed in the light of the
texts of the aforementioned authors. Conclusion drawn from the comparison is that neither of
the exhibitions fulfil all the described models.
