Streszczenie:
The objective of this research is to design,
create and develop role-playing game ”Bar in the Forest”
based on Unity game engine. To achieve the stated
aim, the following methods were chosen: object-oriented
and reactive design; goal-oriented action planning and
finite-state automaton model for artificial intelligence behaviour
implementation; graph search algorithms for path
finding problem. The result is a two-dimensional roleplaying
game ”Bar in the Forest” for Windows, MacOS
or Linux systems with number of features, such as quests,
dialogues, inventory, two areas (bar and forest), character
attributes and their derivatives, time of day, weather, factions,
character levelling, saving, health, stamina, weapons,
consumables, status effects, adaptive audio, tile based terrain,
settings, localization, smart objects interaction system,
world events, anomalies and traps. In conclusion,
”Bar in the Forest” is an entertainable game with broad
space for future improvement. Nevertheless, the game can
offer broad number of features, atmospheric and vivid
world, charismatic characters, unique gameplay and responsive
interface.
