Global climate changes are one of the most important challenges for humanity right now. This
paper examines the role of graphic designers in the fight for climate justice as well as the
visual language and graphic tools for eco-activism. The case study approach was used to show
the power of graphic design in shaping people’s minds and opinions. The text also researches
the responsibilities of graphic designers and ways to design sustainably.
The paper used not only academic publications and books, but it reaches for information from
real life. It describes several social activities which were conducted to deliver materials for
thoughts and analysis. Since the number of sources on the described topic is limited and
considering how quickly the environmental situation changes the text put emphasis on
research on the current social situation. A big part of research is based on the author’s actions. |
