Both movable and AR books for children achieve a similar result, i.e. they are
both interactive and they display information on different levels which means that
the reader doesn't see all of the information when he/she opens the book, but only
when he/she will interact with it, the additional information is available. However, to
do that, they use different means. In this paper I will look into the history and types
of AR and movable books. In addition, I will also have a closer look into different
technical aspects and ways of interaction they are using. Moreover, after completing
of the research part I will compare these two mediums to understand how they can
benefit from one another. And in which aspects AR books already have
improvements in comparison to the movable books. It will help to understand what
else could be done to make it even more engaging, interactive and understandable
for children. |
