Social Event Organizer Application

Abstract

The purpose of the project is to create a convenient all-in-one web application that allows creating and organizing events with possibility to book venues, catering providers or service providers and entertainers. The application attempts to provide easier process of organizing events as well as managing organized events and reservations at a personal pace. Apart from it, the other main functionality is to facilitate business owners with platform for sharing either venues or catering providers or service providers that can be booked for an event. The system was created using popular technological stack that Java, Hibernate, Spring and ReactJS with PostgreSQL used as a database managements system. The thesis contains information on application functionalities and the way they are implemented using modern technologies and frameworks as well as detailed description of testing processes, user manual and application installation process.
