UVisit

Abstract

UVisit application is a user-oriented application made to transfer the medical appointment online. UVisit provides a functionally for both ends of the virtual visit meaning patient and doctor. User interface adopts based on the logged-in user. Application makes arrangement, process and management of the virtual appointment pleasant and easy. There are plenty functionalities available within application as for intense an ability of patients to see the detailed information of all doctors they may end up in contact with. The doctors embedded functionality of “Time Keeper” so that they could manage their time. There was much effort put into application’s UI and UX in order to make the usage of UVisit most pleasant and straightforward for the potential application users. We would like to create our application as personalized as possible so we have implemented “Profile Preferences” panel where user can adjust the UI in just one click. UVisit is a great tool in current times especially, with the great potential for growth and possible extension. On the current stage the application is general and suitable for any medical institution. Although there is not much effort needed to adopt, brand, modify or personalize the application for the potential customer needs. Application is created using React.js framework on the front-end, Node.js framework with express.js on the back-end. Database engine is PostgreSQL. We have decided to use this technological stack in order to assure highest performance, faster development and secure and flexible usage.
