Application “Clothesy”

Abstract

The product of our engineering dissertation is a web application designed for tourists who do not wish to worry about what they have to pack in a suitcase when they go on a journey. The application is used as a user's clothes database on the basis of clothing sets that are generated every day. The user will have an option of adding a trip, where she or he can determine the time and destination of the trip. On the basis of this information and the weather details, the application will generate a "suitcase" or inventory of clothes that travelers should take with them. The main target group of the application are people travelling to destinations of unfamiliar weather or climate conditions, where our application aims to facilitate packing their own "suitcases". Mostly, it will be the group who has made plans to travel to the areas where they have not set their foot yet. What is more, it is directed to people who are sent to various job delegations or trainings, as it is a group for whom the time matters the most, and our mobile application could certainly shorten the time period they spend on packing their belongings.
