dc.description.abstract |
I researched tattoo art as a social communication concept and analyzed the perception of body modifications in Post-Soviet countries. Results of my work are a set of conclusions about mechanisms and general construction of tattoos as visual language in terms of their influence on society from a psychological point of view describing both individual and community. Aside from that, one of the most important aims of my project is the demonstration of various social reactions as a response to atypical appearance and a further judgment based on the very first reaction. |
