Streszczenie:
This thesis aims at analysing the impact
of Augmented Reality technology on the
modern world and consists of three chapters.
The first one is an introduction and
outline of AR history in the 20th and 21st
century, along with a few practical examples
of AR in chosen fields. Chapter two explains
the actual Augmented Reality experience
and focuses on three case studies describing
apps that influenced the modern world:
Pokémon Go, Snapchat, and IKEA Place. In
particular, this part shows how technology
changed the way we live on a daily basis;
how it influenced our habits and everyday
activities, social interactions, and needs.
The last chapter discusses additional issues
concerning AR – how and if the virtual is
crossing legal boundaries and a forecast for
the near future. This part is followed by a
summary of the topic where all the relevant
conclusions are drawn.
