Streszczenie:
Long before I started writing this paper, I was wondering what
it takes to be an animator. I was thinking about all aspects of their
work, but most important question in my mind at that time was:
“how do they come up with those incredible ideas?”. During my
research, I discovered that it’s not only good idea that makes a
masterpiece, it takes so much more; and later I found out on
practice how difficult it actually is.
Going through all the steps of making an animated movie, like
coming up with the idea, creating music, making a character
believable and even visual storytelling, I tried to set an example
from real life people who helped to bring such masterpieces as The
Lion King, WALL-E or even, arguably, Rick and Morty into life.
In the end, writing this paper helped me realize how much work
of many talented people is put into an animation movie that
audience only gets to see for an hour and a half, in most cases. Of
course, that doesn’t change the fact that some of those movies are
good enough to be called masterpieces so people who already saw it
watch it again, and again, and even pass it for their children to see
decades later. That is exactly how movies become timeless, and in
this thesis I am trying to figure out how to achieve that goal.
