dc.description.abstract |
This thesis is an analysis of the techniques and concepts used in the creation of cinema, and how these can be applied in the creation of videogames. I divided my thesis into four chapters. The first chapter is mainly focused on storytelling in cinema and games. The second chapter deals with the use of camera and editing. The third scrutinizes the application of colors and lighting. The fourth explores the construction of narrative in games from the point of view of game design, sound design, and level design, and suggests several problems of videogames. |
